Overview

The Capacity Assessment Leader is responsible for leading supplier capacity and capability engagements with high priority and high-risk suppliers, ensuring successful delivery and meeting customer demands.

  • Lead supplier capacity assessments for high-risk suppliers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to manage action plans.
  • Analyze capacity assessment results to identify gaps and constraints.
  • Develop action plans to mitigate supply constraints.
  • Build relationships with suppliers to improve adoption of initiatives.
  • Participate in daily management rhythms for capacity assessment.
  • Continuously improve the capacity assessment process.
  • Act as a project leader for cross-functional projects.
  • Ensure compliance with quality and delivery requirements.
  • Travel domestically 35%-50% for supplier assessments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • 5+ years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, or Sourcing.
  • 10+ years of Operations experience preferred.
  • Project management and strategic initiative experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems in manufacturing.
  • Experience in Lean/Process Improvement methodologies.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Humble, transparent, and focused work ethic.
  • Leadership ability to drive decision-making and collaboration.
