Vice President of Operations - Remote

Overview

We are hiring for one of our clients. They are a venture group focusing on the intersection of emerging technologies and GenZ consumer trends e.g. wellness, lifestyle, F&B, healthcare and entertainment.

We are looking for a Vice President of Operations (VP of Operations) to oversee project management, research initiatives, and talent acquisition to support the company's portfolio projects. This role requires strategic thinking and strong organizational skills to drive operational success across our portfolio companies.

In Short

• Project Management: Lead and manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.
• Research & Analysis: Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and inform decision-making.
• Talent Acquisition: Oversee hiring processes to attract and retain top talent or operational roles.
• Portfolio Support: Provide operational assistance to portfolio companies with project planning and execution.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement operational efficiencies across functions.
• Performance Metrics: Establish KPIs to track project progress and report results to leadership.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in any major.
• Experience: 7 years of experience in operations or project management, preferably in consumer goods or startup environments.
• Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in driving startup operations and growing companies, leading projects to completion, improving operational efficiency, and achieving measurable results.
• Industry Familiarity: Familiarity with consumer-facing industries.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in both verbal and written English and Chinese; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
