Head of Finance - Remote

Overview

We are hiring a Founding Finance Lead to build and own the financial architecture of a rapidly scaling services business. This is not a traditional accounting or controller role — it is a strategic finance position focused on building financial systems, models, and decision frameworks that support a high-growth company.

In Short

• Own and manage the company P&L end-to-end.
• Design and maintain financial models that connect operational metrics to financial outcomes.
• Build and operate capacity planning models accounting for offshore engineers and contractors.
• Lead the annual budgeting process with quarterly reforecasting.
• Develop cash flow forecasting frameworks.
• Build client-level financial views including CAC, LTV, and margin per engagement.
• Own the financial systems stack, including Stripe and QuickBooks.
• Build automated reporting pipelines for financial KPIs.
• Maintain board-ready financial reporting.
• Serve as a strategic partner to the founder.

Requirements

• Experience in strategic finance roles.
• Strong knowledge of financial modeling and analysis.
