Overview

We are a digital marketing agency looking for a Digital Analytics Consultant to support our team and eCommerce clients, particularly in implementing and optimizing GA4 tracking, Tag Management, and Consent Management Platforms, ideally in combination with Shopify.

In Short

  • Lead and implement advanced GA4 tracking setups, including GA4 Enhanced E-Commerce Tracking.
  • Develop and maintain GTM configurations (Client and Server-side).
  • Apply Google Consent Mode.
  • Ensure CMP integration according to GDPR and compatibility with analytics and marketing tools.
  • Provide analytics consulting for our German-speaking clients.
  • Collaborate with our English-speaking internal tech support team.
  • Assist with data integration using BigQuery and Looker Studio.
  • Provide general technical support in Digital Analytics and MarTech.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of practical experience in Digital Analytics.
  • Expert knowledge in GA4, GTM, and CMPs; experience with Shopify is a plus.
  • Experience in a relevant online marketing area (e.g., SEA, SMA, or display advertising).
  • Experience with Server-side GTM is mandatory.
  • Basic understanding of GDPR and its implications on tracking.
  • Familiarity with BigQuery, Looker Studio, and other Google Cloud Tools.
  • Basic knowledge of JavaScript (e.g., event handling, dataLayer manipulation).
  • Ability to consult clients in German and communicate fluently in English.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proactive working style in a technical environment.
