Senior Bookkeeping & Finance Operations Specialist - Remote

Overview

This role is for a senior offshore finance professional, performing end-to-end bookkeeping while providing management-level financial insights.

In Short

• Manage end-to-end accounts payable and receivable.
• Perform daily bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Complete payroll tasks accurately and on time.
• Run a structured month-end close with documented checklists.
• Prepare GST/BAS schedules for accountant review.
• Maintain accurate inventory valuation and adjustment processes.
• Produce gross margin reporting by product, customer, or channel.
• Maintain a rolling cash forecast and highlight upcoming risks.
• Produce a monthly management pack with variance commentary.
• Track KPIs relevant to sales, margin, and cash performance.

Requirements

• Experience in bookkeeping and finance operations.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and compliance.
• Proficiency in financial software such as Keypay, Odoo, and Power BI.
• Ability to manage multiple financial tasks simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
• Capability to work independently as a contractor.
