At Upside, we're seeking an exceptional Lead Frontend Engineer to drive the technical excellence of the knowledge curation platform, revolutionizing how scientific information is analyzed through AI-powered solutions.

• Drive architectural decisions for complex frontend systems, establishing patterns and practices that promote code quality, performance, and scalability
• Design and implement robust frontend architecture that seamlessly integrates with AI services
• Mentor a team of frontend engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation
• Relevant frontend development experience, with deep expertise in the React ecosystem
• Proven track record of architecting large-scale web applications
• Expert knowledge of modern TypeScript, including advanced patterns and optimization techniques
• Strong understanding of state management patterns and solutions (Zustand, React Query, or similar)
• Proven experience leading frontend teams and mentoring developers
• Strong system design and architectural decision-making capabilities
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders across engineering, product, and design
• Proficiency in English and Polish
