Overview

The Volunteer and Community Liaison is responsible for the overall strategic plan for volunteer program development, engagement, and implementation at the Regional Office or department level, including recruitment, screening, training, onboarding, placing, supervising, supporting, and recognizing volunteers.

In Short

  • Responsible for volunteer program development and engagement.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to identify needs.
  • Maintain compliance with Medicare and national standards.
  • Develop and maintain community outreach goals.
  • Build relationships with community partners.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers.
  • Manage project development from concept to completion.
  • Provide excellent patient and caregiver support.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
  • Utilize metrics for program improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Certification in Volunteer Administration is desired.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and motivate team members.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and insurance.
  • Willingness to comply with health and vaccination policies.
