Auditor / HPM - Remote

Overview

The Auditor is responsible for performing contract audits and related review procedures. This role will be remote and may require travel up to 75% of the time.

In Short

• Conducts or assists with basic to moderately complex construction audit projects.
• Ensures job cost is charged in accordance with contract documents.
• Analyzes owner and subcontractor change orders.
• Prepares audit findings report and presents to owners.
• Provides feedback to owners on contract market rates and best practices.
• Reviews subcontracts for pricing and reasonableness.
• Scrutinizes pay applications for proper backup and appropriateness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in an auditing role, preferably in the A/C/E industry.
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.
• Audit, Documentation, and Presentation Skills.
• Attention to Detail, Thoroughness, and Objectivity required.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Valid Driver's License Required.
