Accounting Manager - E-commerce - Remote

Overview

The Accounting Manager has exposure across the entire accounting function with the opportunity for continuous growth and responsibility. This role will work independently and will partner with the Sales and Planning Departments, reporting to the CFO.

In Short

• Manage accounts receivable and maintain the A/R aging report.
• Minimize aged receivables by actively reaching out to customers.
• Perform full cycle A/R activities and initiate collection efforts.
• Work on monthly GL close activities to ensure accurate recording.
• Assist in managing specialty accounts, including credit release and applying discounts.
• Communicate with customer A/P departments for record requests.
• Validate chargebacks and disputes, tracking unearned discounts.
• Reconcile invoice details against warehouse reports.
• Prepare credit memos, invoices, and bank deposits.
• Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.

Requirements

• Experience in accounting and finance roles.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis.
• Excellent communication skills for client interactions.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Experience with accounting software and tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
