We are looking to hire a Freelance Children's Book Writer (Fiction). In this role, you will adapt public-domain stories into books for ages 5-12. These books will be published on our free reading app Booktime.

In Short

Adapt popular folk and fairy tales and other public domain material into books suitable for children between 5 and 12
Provide a detailed description of illustrations with details about characters, settings, etc.

Requirements

Excellent command of both written and spoken English
Interest in children’s literature and classics
Ability to write at appropriate reading levels for different age groups
