Senior Software Engineer - Remote

Overview

Hims & Hers is seeking an experienced Sr. Software Engineer to build and maintain the platform that reliably fulfills customer orders and prescriptions at scale.

In Short

• Design and build backend services that power our telehealth and ecommerce platforms
• Collaborate with product managers and principal engineers
• Provide leadership and guidance on architecture and designs
• Deliver cross-domain integration solutions
• Own feature delivery from design to production
• Implement observability and monitoring solutions
• Contribute to operational excellence through on-call responsibilities
• Coach and mentor team members
• Participate in retrospectives for continuous improvement
• Cross functional team collaboration and communication

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 5+ years experience as a software engineer
• 3+ years of experience with back end distributed system design
• 3+ years of experience with microservice architectures
• Experience with Domain Driven Design
• Experience with microservices on Kubernetes and AWS
• Experience with agile software development methodologies
• Proficiency with continuous integration/delivery
• Proficiency with Relational Databases, PostgreSQL preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
