Overview

HighLevel is seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test III to join our Marketplace Team, focusing on API testing and automation to ensure high-quality marketplace solutions.

In Short

• Design and maintain automated test frameworks for APIs and web applications.
• Lead API testing efforts including functional, integration, regression, and contract testing.
• Develop end-to-end automation using Playwright with TypeScript.
• Write clean and maintainable test automation code.
• Collaborate with backend, frontend, and product teams to identify test scenarios.
• Drive shift-left testing practices.
• Review test cases and provide mentorship to junior SDETs.
• Participate in CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Identify quality risks and drive improvements in testing strategies.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Software Testing/SDET roles.
• Strong expertise in API testing (REST, JSON, HTTP).
• Proven experience in API automation frameworks.
• Excellent coding skills with TypeScript / JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for UI automation.
• Understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
