In Short

• Design and build backend systems and frontend interfaces for HighLevel Conversations.
• Focus on backend and API design, data flows, and performance.
• Work with Node.js microservices and GCP infrastructure.
• Handle over 2 billion messages each month.
• Ensure reliability, throughput, and correctness at scale.
• Implement caching and rate limiting for scalability.
• Integrate modular Vue 3 UIs with APIs.
• Maintain high test coverage across various tests.
• Participate in on-call duties and incident resolution.
• Collaborate with product and frontend teams.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Expert in Node.js and TypeScript; experience with NestJS or Express.
• Proficient in Vue 3 or similar frameworks.
• Strong API design and data modeling skills.
• Experience with GCP or AWS and CI/CD automation.
• Hands-on with observability and production monitoring.
• Bonus: Experience with Pub/Sub or message queues.
