Accounting Expert - Remote

Overview

This role is ideal for individuals with expertise in accounting and finance, especially those with a passion for digitalization and related tools.

In Short

• Responsible for independent processing and control of all accounting transactions.
• Support in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB.
• Preparation and support for tax declarations.
• Conduct and optimize accounting processes.
• Act as a key contact for tax consultancies, auditors, and financial authorities.
• Ensure compliance with legal and tax regulations.
• Take a key role in internal projects for process optimization and digitalization.
• Analyze and prepare business key figures.

Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting, Finance, or equivalent commercial training.
• Several years of professional experience in accounting or tax.
• Strong knowledge of HGB and ideally IFRS.
• Experience with common ERP systems (e.g., Odoo, DATEV, NetSuite).
• Very good analytical skills and a structured working style.
• High affinity for numbers and complex financial topics.
• Self-reliance, initiative, and teamwork skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Very good German and English skills (C1 level).
