Overview

The Senior Director, Marketing Strategy, leads strategic pursuits and produces high-quality marketing proposals, presentations, client-facing RFPs, and other sales enablement materials to aid in the growth of Her Campus Media’s brand and partnerships.

• Oversee the development of custom marketing proposals from initial ideation through final delivery.
• Translate client needs and RFP requirements into clear strategic frameworks and campaign strategies.
• Guide internal brainstorms ensuring creativity balances with operational feasibility.
• Serve as an expert on brand messaging and storytelling across various sectors.
• Design and customize proposal templates and presentation decks.
• Collaborate on the sales enablement roadmap for best-in-class marketing abilities.
• Partner closely with internal stakeholders to ensure proposal alignment.
• Stay informed on industry trends impacting marketing strategy.
• Manage multiple deadlines effectively.
• Translate market insights into actionable guidance for proposals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Media, Communications, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 7+ years of professional marketing experience.
• At least 1+ year in people management and leadership experience.
• Experience in building decks using Google Slides, PowerPoint, or similar software.
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Exceptional organizational ability managing multiple deadlines.
