• Looking for a Principal Engineer to help found the Platform Engineering Team.
• Responsible for building the internal developer platform.
• Scale host & software management solutions for thousands of bare-metal servers.
• Build service frameworks for globally distributed services.
• Ensure high-reliability and uptime for billions of customer requests.
• Design and manage automated systems for server deployment and maintenance.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Enhance infrastructure security and monitor system performance.
• Lead incident response and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with the engineering team for performance optimization.

Requirements

• 8+ years in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering role.
• Experience managing bare-metal server environments.
• Expert scripting skills (Bash, Python, Go).
• Experience in Rust, Golang, Java, or similar.
• Proficiency with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Strong knowledge of automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef).
• Expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
