Business Analysis & Facilitation Subject Matter Expert - Remote

Overview

An expert business analyst and facilitator responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and guiding discussions that lead to solutions aligned with organizational goals.

In Short

• Analyze business processes and document requirements, including process flows, use cases, and functional specifications.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and support policy and operational alignment.
• Support Agile adoption, governance, retrospectives, backlog prioritization, and sprint planning.
• Lead process improvement, reengineering, workflow optimization, and implementation planning.
• Support operational readiness, user acceptance testing, deployment readiness, and postproduction activities.
• Develop and track KPIs, dashboards, workload and performance metrics, and data-driven recommendations.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience as a business analyst or SME.
• At least 5 years supporting federal programs in process optimization, requirements analysis, and system integration with a focus on immigration.
• Certification: Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or equivalent.
• Expertise in requirements gathering, process mapping, and workflow optimization.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, testing, and system deployment.
• 5 years of experience with immigration policy and exposure to agencies in the immigration ecosystem.
