Epic Ambulatory Manager - Remote

Overview

The Manager of Ambulatory Clinical Services directly manages the implementation, optimization, and support of the institution's Ambulatory clinical systems, ensuring that system functionality supports clinical and business processes.

In Short

• Directly manages implementation and support of Ambulatory clinical systems.
• Acts as a liaison between Digital & Information Services and operational leadership.
• Participates in strategic planning and department coordination.
• Monitors project portfolios and resolves risks and issues.
• Reviews and approves Business Cases and SOW for projects.
• Builds relationships with operational leadership and teams.
• Responsible for assessing departmental needs for workflow and technology.
• Mentors team members and manages employee reviews.
• Proactively identifies workflow or application issues.
• Sets and meets accounting unit budgets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, health care or related fields.
• 9-10 years of related experience accepted in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
• Certification(s) in related Epic or other Clinical or Business Applications.
• 6 years of overall experience with increasing responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows in a healthcare setting.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated influencing skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Command of common office tools (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite, Visio).
