• We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Payments to join our engineering team.
• You’ll play a critical role in shaping and improving the payments infrastructure of the Healthie platform.
• Drive the design and development of seamless, scalable, and reliable subscription and payment systems.
• Focus on managing the full subscription lifecycle, including upgrades, downgrades, cancellations, and invoicing.
• Help automate recurring billing processes and support flexible pricing models.
• Ensure clean, consistent payment data across Healthie’s CRM, analytics, and financial systems.
• Ideal for a senior backend engineer with Ruby on Rails expertise.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams on high impact business outcomes.
• Must be located in the U.S. and U.S. work authorization is required.
• This is a full-time remote position.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Significant experience in Ruby on Rails, React, PostgreSQL, GraphQL, or equivalent technologies.
• Hands-on expertise in integrating and optimizing payment systems.
• Direct experience working with Stripe for subscription management and billing automation.
• Experience designing scalable, maintainable systems.
• Familiarity with data warehouse, analytics, and CRM tools.
• Solid knowledge of application security and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and a problem solver.
