Overview

The Member Relations Representative (Tier 1) promotes a positive image of Health Partners Plans (HPP) via telephone, educating members and providers about the plan while effectively handling inbound and outbound calls.

In Short

  • Promote a positive image of HPP through effective communication.
  • Educate members and providers about health plans.
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls professionally.
  • Assist with eligibility and benefits questions.
  • Coordinate demographic changes with relevant agencies.
  • Provide support for registering on member/provider portals.
  • Conduct telephonic outreach to members.
  • Maintain accurate data entry in systems.
  • Collaborate with internal departments for issue resolution.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2-5 years of customer service experience preferred.
  • 1+ years of call center experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
  • Basic typing and computer skills required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Compliance with health information regulations is required.
