Asset Tracking Technician - Remote

Overview

The Asset Tracking Technician is responsible for managing the RTLS hardware infrastructure in the Pensacola, FL area, ensuring system functionality, and providing training to end users.

In Short

• Manage RTLS Encompass infrastructure at various sites.
• Monitor hardware performance for system functionality.
• Perform remediation activities on offline devices.
• Gather and install move-add-change (MAC) requirements.
• Order and configure new hardware as needed.
• Supervise third-party vendor activities related to Encompass.
• Report site health metrics to internal clients.
• Lead projects from inception to completion.
• Provide ongoing training to end users.
• Communicate new functionalities to users.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a hospital setting.
• Understanding of medical equipment movement in clinical care.
• Ability to obtain unrestricted Hospital Vendor Credentialing.
• Proven customer interaction skills.
• Understanding of Wi-Fi fundamentals.
• Ability to work independently.
• Clear communication skills with Biomedical Technicians and stakeholders.
• Support experience with RTLS is a plus.
• Familiarity with hospital departments and policies.
