The Senior Backend Engineer will design, implement, and optimize scalable, secure, and high-availability backend services for various projects at Hatch Innovations, ensuring system reliability and high code quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in backend services development
• Experience building online services or web systems
• Deep knowledge of Java and design patterns
• Proficient in RESTful API design
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
• Knowledge of caching, messaging, and async processing
• Experience with large scale service deployment
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services
• Experience in CI/CD environments
• Ability to work independently and in teams
