Overview

The Hastings Group is looking for a Technical Support Specialist to provide exceptional customer support in telecommunications, serving as the initial contact point for customers.

In Short

  • Offer primary support for wireless inquiries received via telephone.
  • Troubleshoot customer needs including activating new phones and services.
  • Manage standard client orders within a 4-hour service agreement.
  • Maintain knowledge of data security and personal information protection policies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Help Desk/Call Center department.
  • Work remotely with a reliable internet connection.
  • Participate in mandatory training sessions upon hire.
  • Full-time position with expected hours of 40 hours per week.
  • Ability to excel in a team environment.
  • Evaluate customer needs to determine appropriate options.

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
  • Strong customer service and active listening skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Excel.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Prior experience in telecommunications preferred.
  • Prior customer service experience required.
