IOP Program Manager - Remote

Overview

The IOP Program Manager will play a critical role in advancing the mission of the Institute of Politics (IOP) at Harvard University by developing strategies, conducting research, and supporting innovative programming.

In Short

• Collaborate with IOP leadership to design and manage operational strategies.
• Build relationships with external partners and broaden IOP program resources.
• Develop metrics for assessing event effectiveness.
• Identify and conduct outreach to diverse speakers and potential fellows.
• Lead research projects and provide findings to stakeholders.
• Inspire and mentor students in public service and political involvement.
• Collect and analyze program outcomes and participation metrics.
• Support the engagement and onboarding process for new fellows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of program management experience.
• Master’s degree in a related area preferred.
• Experience in long-term strategic planning and student engagement.
• Experience planning public events.
• Strong communication and supervisory skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple responsibilities.
