Commercial Controller - Remote

Overview

The Commercial Controller will drive commercial performance through in-depth analysis of key retail KPIs, robust financial planning, and close collaboration with business teams to enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.

• Conduct comprehensive OMNI analysis of sales, conversion, traffic, pricing, discount rates, returns and other commercial KPIs
• Deliver clear, actionable insights to improve trading outcomes and support business growth.
• Monitor and report on performance against budget, forecast, and historical benchmarks.
• Support category and channel profitability assessments to guide product, pricing, and promotional decisions.
• Manage and improve the budgeting and reforecasting process for commercial functions.
• Build and maintain financial models, dashboards, and reports that track commercial KPIs in real time.
• Implement process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and accessibility.
• Act as a trusted business partner to various teams.
• Present financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
• Support a culture of accountability and commercial ownership.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
• Extensive experience in a commercial finance or controlling role, ideally in retail or fashion.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Excel, BI tools, and ERP systems.
• Commercially curious, detail-oriented, and highly collaborative.
• A strong passion for fashion retail and understanding of retail KPIs.
