Configuration Management Specialist, Lead - Remote

Overview

GXM is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist Lead to perform and lead configuration management and change control functions in support of Naval software development programs.

In Short

• Lead configuration management activities for Naval software development projects
• Perform configuration item identification and baseline definition
• Manage source code control, configuration libraries, and change request processes
• Track and manage configuration-related action items
• Develop and maintain Department of War manuals and specifications
• Prepare and contribute to technical reports
• Collaborate directly with customers and engineering personnel

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ten years of experience in logistics planning or configuration management
• Experience with configuration item identification and baseline definition
• Demonstrated experience using Configuration Management tools
• Experience managing technical baselines and configuration control boards
• Experience writing technical reports
