Retirement Plan Operations Specialist - Remote

In Short

• Assist entrepreneurs nationwide in achieving their dreams of launching their own businesses.
• Review documents submitted by clients for completeness and accuracy.
• Utilize administration software to complete 401(k) testing and reporting.
• Prepare required 401(k) plan government filings, including the IRS Form 5500.
• Educate clients regarding the administration of their 401(k) plan.
• Make outgoing reminder calls and send emails to clients during the plan year reporting process.
• Work with clients to obtain necessary information to prepare annual reporting.
• Reconcile plans with only rollovers and plan stock using Excel.
• Share knowledge and explain complex topics simply.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and administration software.
• Ability to work independently and remotely.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Experience with 401(k) plans is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and grow in the role.
