Full Stack Developer (Vue+Node.js) - Remote

Overview

The Full Stack Developer will be responsible for creating and maintaining cloud-based frontend and backend services for Big Blue Swim School, a rapidly growing swim school franchise.

In Short

• Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications.
• Contribute to frontend (Vue/Nuxt) and backend (Node.js/NestJS) development.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on business requirements.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance.
• Follow Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
• Contribute to infrastructure and deployment on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Work remotely with required overlap of 4 hours with US Eastern time.
• Full-time contract role for up to 4 months.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in full stack development.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Experience with Vue.js/Nuxt.js, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience building backend services with Node.js and NestJS.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and web architecture.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and complex SQL queries.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize code.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Familiarity with SCRUM and Agile practices.
