Overview

The Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for architecting and designing a GCP based data lakehouse, utilizing various Google Cloud services.

• Architect and design an enterprise grade GCP based data lakehouse.
• Utilize BigQuery, GCS, Dataproc, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer.
• Define data ingestion and processing strategies for large datasets.
• Create data models for analytics and operational data products.
• Design federated data layers for downstream consumers.
• Advanced conversational English and Spanish required.
• Must be a foreigner residing in Mexico with valid documentation.
• Job type is remote.
• Salary is $110,000 gross per year.

Requirements

• Experience with GCP and Terraform.
• Strong background in data engineering.
• Proficiency in BigQuery and related technologies.
• Ability to work with structured and unstructured datasets.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Valid INE, CURP, NSS, and RFC for foreigners in Mexico.
