• Design, develop, and implement different database instances for the development and production environments in AZURE Cloud
• Migrate application data from on-prem databases to Cloud databases
• Monitor and maintain database security and database software
• Experienced with DMS (Database Migration Services) Tools to migrate data from On-premises to Cloud.
• Daily maintenance, monitoring, problem resolution and internal customer for production and dev support
• On-call for production databases
• Test, validate and implement performance and resource optimization improvements in consultation with AZURE development Teams
• Database & Application performance tuning
• Backup and recovery tools of AZURE & traditional backup & recovery tools
• Root cause analysis of production-related database issues

Requirements

• Experience with Azure Cloud
• Strong knowledge of database management
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database issues
• Experience with performance tuning
• Familiarity with backup and recovery processes
