Overview

The Contract Management Associate will be a key member of the Contract Management & Implementation (CM&I) Team within Insurance Operations. This role will manage high-impact payor contracts, drive process improvements, and act as a subject matter expert on payor contract management and implementation.

  • Own the implementation of newly executed payor contract data.
  • Drive implementation of best practices for contract review and documentation.
  • Provide guidance on interpreting complex contractual language.
  • Lead audits of existing payors for missing information.
  • Resolve complex rate discrepancies and collect missing fee schedules.
  • Serve as a primary liaison for payor contract escalations.
  • Lead efforts to document and optimize rate management processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance payor contract outcomes.
  • Implement a quality control process for uploaded rates.
  • Drive key initiatives related to contract execution and payor partnerships.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in insurance operations or contract management.
  • Deep understanding of insurance contracts and payor fee schedules.
  • Proven experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to improve rate management processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve rate inconsistencies.
  • Proficiency in Google Drive, JIRA, and contract management tools.
