Director of Information Security - Remote

Overview

The Director, Information Security is a key member of Groups360’s security team, responsible for driving a strong compliance strategy across a diverse and global network.

In Short

• Develop, design, and implement the GRC strategy.
• Develop long-range plan for the department.
• Translate strategic goals into technical strategies.
• Verify compliance with existing policies and procedures.
• Monitor business systems for compliance.
• Partner with stakeholders to resolve critical issues.
• Evaluate compliance with cloud-based security systems.
• Provide oversight of security systems.
• Outline key metrics and program progress.
• Promote a security compliance culture across the company.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field preferred.
• 7+ years’ Information Security experience.
• 1-3 years of managerial experience preferred.
• Proficient in information security standards.
• Security Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM required.
• Extensive knowledge in security controls assessment.
• Experience managing internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated project management skills.
• Experience in cloud environments is a plus.
• Experience with vendor risk assessment methodologies.
