In Short

• Lead and manage a global team of 5–10 engineers, fostering growth, accountability, and high performance.
• Architect and implement state-of-the-art cloud solutions on GCP, with a focus on hybrid cloud strategies and service mesh frameworks like Envoy/Istio.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions, enabling seamless and secure deployments.
• Define and execute cloud strategies aligned with business objectives, emphasizing cost efficiency and scalability.
• Establish robust observability practices to enhance system performance, reliability, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with software teams to streamline release processes and ensure system readiness for new product rollouts.
• Own and manage cloud budgets, optimizing expenditure while maintaining service quality.
• Stay actively involved in technical problem-solving, providing mentorship and expertise to drive team success.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Proven experience leading and managing engineering teams of 5+ people, with a track record of driving results.
• Extensive knowledge of GCP (AWS/Hybrid cloud experience is a plus).
• Expertise in Kubernetes, service meshes (Envoy/Istio), and networking/security principles.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, scripting, and modern programming languages (Java, Golang, Python).
• Strong problem-solving abilities, with a pragmatic approach to delivery and operational excellence.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to engage technical and business stakeholders.
