Asset Manager - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an Asset Manager to help drive Gridmatic’s initiative of decarbonizing the electricity system. You’d be working with our customers who are owners of grid-scale energy resources, with a focus on battery storage, to ensure that resources are performing as expected and customer needs are addressed.

In Short

• Responsible for the oversight of a portfolio of contracted energy resources in the US.
• Work with the engineering team to define and implement complex billing and reporting logic.
• Define requirements to help build solutions for new types of customers.
• Interface with various teams to ensure smooth project transitions.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in electricity markets.
• Manage commercial issues and conduct negotiations.
• Review agreements for compliance and performance.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in the wholesale electricity industry.
• Experience in negotiating and resolving complex issues.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, business, or similar field.
• Interest in operations of innovative energy solutions.
