RN Health Care Facility Surveyor - Remote

Overview

The RN Health Care Facility Surveyor will work remotely while conducting surveys to assess compliance with healthcare regulations across the nation.

In Short

• Position is 100% remote with up to 75% travel.
• Conduct surveys for long-term care and non-long-term care facilities.
• Evaluate compliance with federal regulations.
• Prepare for surveys through off-site preparations and facility tours.
• Communicate non-compliance issues during site reviews.
• Determine the acceptability of plans of correction.
• Conduct follow-up visits to ensure compliance.
• Assist with facility training and participate in workgroups.
• Work with a Quality Improvement Consulting Company.
• Support internal and external customers nationwide.

Requirements

• CMS’s Long-Term Care Basic Training and SMQT certification are required.
• Experience in healthcare surveying or compliance preferred.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with healthcare personnel.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality improvement.
