Sr. Director, Legal Counsel - Remote

Overview

As a Sr. Director, Legal Counsel, you will assume responsibility as counsel for several of our business teams, assisting with data privacy laws and managing all agreements related to the business.

In Short

• Draft and review a high volume of contracts daily.
• Negotiate third party vendor and partnership agreements.
• Collaborate with internal departments for legal advice on new initiatives.
• Work on special projects to assist the legal department.
• Engage with external counsel as needed.
• Minimum 6 years of legal experience required.
• Experience in the fintech payments industry is a must.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks.
• Must have a JD degree and admission to at least one US state bar.

• Experience with complex commercial agreements.
• Basic understanding of privacy laws and regulations.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently.
