Staff Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Staff Accountant is responsible for general accounting functions, including assisting with accounts payable, accounts receivable, account analysis, and supporting the Chief Financial Officer in fulfilling the responsibilities of the Finance department.

• Reports to the Chief Financial Officer.
• Location: Kansas City, MO.
• Remote work: 2-5 days in office per month.
• Status: Exempt, Full-time.
• Responsibilities include reviewing, reconciling, and processing accounting transactions.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports.
• Assist with audit conducted by third parties.
• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role preferred.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (Business: Accounting, Finance, Management, etc.) preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a Staff Accountant position or similar role.
• QuickBooks Online experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Power Point, and OneNote).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
