Senior Video Editor - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a talented Senior Video Editor who will take creative ownership of our video projects from initial footage to final delivery, ensuring high production values across all projects.

• Craft compelling, high-quality edits that align with brand tone and storytelling objectives.
• Execute skilled editing with a strong sense of timing, composition, pacing, and mood.
• Perform color correction and grading to achieve the project's visual style.
• Create and integrate motion graphics and visual effects as needed.
• Edit and mix audio, ensuring high-quality sound integration.
• Work directly with footage to develop rough cuts, fine cuts, and final versions.
• Adapt content for various platform specifications (broadcast, web, social media).
• Stay current with editing techniques and storytelling trends in the industry.
• Provide input during pre-production to ensure smooth post-production workflow.
• Assist with organizing post-production schedules and timelines.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional video editing experience - specifically: Premiere Pro, After Effects and DaVinci Resolve.
• At least 2-3 years experience working directly on commercial or branded content.
• 2-3 years experience animating motion graphics with After Effects.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional video editing capabilities.
• Deep understanding of editing techniques, storytelling principles, and visual aesthetics.
• Technical expertise with codecs, file formats, and media management.
• Ability to receive and implement creative feedback effectively.
• Problem-solving skills to navigate technical and creative challenges.
• Clear communication skills to collaborate with creative teams and stakeholders.
