Product Design Manager - Remote

Overview

GoodParty.org is looking for a remote Product Design Manager to lead and grow the Design team and drive the design vision forward to remove money from politics.

In Short

• Develop and grow a world-class team of Brand Designers and Product Designers.
• Create design processes that champion an iterative, fast-paced, data-driven design philosophy.
• Partner closely with Product leadership to craft a vision and direction for the product, and execute on it.
• Act as a player/coach and contribute directly to the product.
• Bring your world-class design and brand taste to modernize and consumer-ify our community engagement tools.
• Develop user research best practices in the Product and Design teams.
• Partner and collaborate with the broader leadership team to communicate and evangelize the Design team and their impact.
• Evolve GoodParty.org’s brand and design system to elevate our brand and visual identity.
• Champion the use of AI across your team.
• Obsess over the user experience and design accessible interfaces.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience leading Design teams in a consumer internet company or pro-sumer SaaS company.
• 5+ years of product design experience with at least 3 years as an individual contributor.
• Highly skilled in responsive web design and native mobile applications.
• Proficient with design tools (Figma, Maze, etc.).
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience in a startup environment.
