Overview

As a Data Engineer at Goldbelly, you will enhance how millions of customers connect with both novel and nostalgic food experiences on our platform by transforming our data infrastructure and pipelines.

Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and product managers to design data pipelines.
Develop and maintain scalable data systems for high availability.
Optimize data ingestion, storage, and retrieval processes.
Ensure data quality, governance, and security best practices.
Build data models for business insights and reporting.
Apply software engineering best practices to data workflows.

Requirements

3+ years of data engineering experience.
Expert level in SQL, proficiency in Python preferred.
Skilled in data modeling using tools like dbt Cloud.
Understanding of cloud-based infrastructure (AWS and Snowflake).
Experience with BI platforms for data visualization.
Familiarity with data ingestion and ETL pipelines.
Proficient in version control with Git.
