Overview

Lokal Media House is seeking a Senior WordPress Developer with expertise in Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) to elevate development standards and mentor junior developers, working remotely with a focus on US Eastern Time hours.

In Short

Lead WordPress development projects ensuring clean, maintainable code.
Mentor junior developers and review their code.
Develop custom WordPress themes using ACF, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Convert Figma designs into responsive WordPress builds.
Manage hosting environments and deployments.
Optimize websites for performance and SEO.
Troubleshoot front-end and back-end issues.
Document workflows and refine development processes.
Collaborate with designers and stakeholders in standups and planning.
Work remotely with at least 2 hours of overlap with US Eastern Time.

Requirements

4+ years of professional WordPress development experience.
Proficiency in ACF, custom theme development, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with responsive design and Figma.
Strong knowledge of hosting platforms like WP Engine and Cloudflare.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong portfolio of WordPress websites.
Ability to work in the US Eastern Time Zone.
