Accounting Controller - Remote

Overview

As our Accounting Controller, you’ll be the financial guardian of our Dutch entity, ensuring everything runs smoothly and in line with Dutch GAAP. Your sharp eye for detail will keep our financial reporting on point, and your drive for process improvements will help us scale even faster!

In Short

• You will be responsible for the monthly and annual closing, ensuring compliance with Dutch GAAP.
• You will monitor and control cash flow to optimize financial stability.
• You will supervise accounting entries, bank reconciliations, and tax filings.
• You will implement improvements in financial processes and internal controls.
• You’ll collaborate closely with the Accounting Officer.
• You will work in a young and international team.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in controlling or a similar financial role.
• A degree in accounting, finance or business administration.
• Fluency in English.
• Strong knowledge of Dutch GAAP and accounting regulations.
• Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets & ERP systems.
• Experience with Exact accounting software is a plus.
• Experience in a remote international environment is a plus.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
