Overview

The Professional Development Designer at Goalbook will design and deliver teacher-facing special education professional development courses, focusing on improving instructional practices for educators.

In Short

• Design and produce professional development content for teachers.
• Deliver training courses both virtually and onsite.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop PD content.
• Train Customer Success team members on course delivery.
• Iterate and improve the design process for PD courses.
• 30% travel required for onsite course delivery.
• Analyze activity data related to PD delivery.
• Support new initiatives for district leader events.
• Work closely with the Customer Success Team.
• Focus on transforming instruction through effective PD.

Requirements

• 5+ years in a school district or similar role focused on teacher-facing PD.
• 3+ years of experience teaching special education.
• Experience as a special education administrator is a plus.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to deliver training in various modalities.
• Experience in data analysis related to training effectiveness.
• Passion for improving educational outcomes for all students.
• Commitment to diversity and inclusion in education.
• Willingness to travel for onsite training sessions.
