Overview

The Senior Technology and Cybersecurity Risk Professional defines the standard for Humana’s cybersecurity and technology-related risk management approach, and identifies and reports on related risk.

In Short

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer security and technology questionnaires.
• Translate complex technical and security concepts into clear, business-friendly language.
• Review, redline, and negotiate contracts and related documents.
• Monitor and communicate emerging regulations relevant to the healthcare industry.
• Interact and present to senior leadership regarding risk analyses.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of response processes and risk management practices.
• Ensure accurate and appropriate responses to customer and regulatory inquiries.
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain confidentiality of member PHI/HIPAA information.
• Occasional travel to Humana's offices may be required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven experience in contract review, redlining, and negotiations.
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
• Expertise in IT technologies and cybersecurity best practices.
• Ability to interact confidently with senior leaders and stakeholders.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Flexibility to adjust to new requirements.
• Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC.
• Experience with security frameworks such as NIST 800-53, PCI DSS.
