Overview

As a Senior Data Manager at Humana, you will be part of a dedicated team focused on transforming data into actionable insights to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.

In Short

• Work within the ESS Business Intelligence team to gather and document data requirements.
• Acquire, clean, and develop datasets from various sources.
• Ensure data accessibility, reliability, and timeliness.
• Develop and execute data architectures and policies.
• Coordinate with teams to address data needs.
• Prepare data for reporting and analysis.
• Perform in-depth data analysis for business insights.
• Communicate effectively with business and IT departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of data management experience.
• 5+ years of technical experience in data analysis using ETL tools.
• Extensive experience with SQL and developing stored procedures.
• Experience in the full project lifecycle from design to deployment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to present data and insights effectively.
• Experience in healthcare or managed care is preferred.
• Familiarity with cloud computing and programming languages (e.g., Python, R).
• Good communication skills for client interaction.
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
