Overview

The Club des petits déjeuners is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing nutritious meals in schools. The Program Coordinator will support schools and community partners in delivering complete and nutritious breakfasts to students while fostering local engagement.

In Short

  • Coordinate the opening and maintenance of breakfast programs in schools.
  • Provide training and ongoing support to breakfast clubs.
  • Regularly visit schools to ensure program quality and hygiene standards.
  • Support schools in using breakfast programs for youth engagement and education.
  • Coordinate annual processes related to program operations.
  • Represent the Club in regional consultations and collaborative projects.
  • Facilitate initiatives involving other departments of the Club.
  • Perform administrative tasks and update databases continuously.

Requirements

  • College or professional diploma in a relevant field (social sciences, nutrition, education, etc.).
  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience.
  • Fluency in French, both spoken and written.
  • Functional knowledge of English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database experience.
  • Project coordination skills.
  • Familiarity with food security and social development issues (an asset).
  • Experience with Indigenous communities (an asset).
  • Must have a driver's license and frequently use a car for school visits.
