Overview

The Senior Security and IT Operations Engineer will be responsible for configuring, implementing, and maintaining IT infrastructures within a cloud-based organization. This role focuses on user management, system administration, and ensuring the security of IT operations.

In Short

• Configure and maintain cloud-based IT infrastructures.
• Manage user accounts and applications through identity access management.
• Oversee virtual private network systems and user administration.
• Implement antivirus systems and manage endpoint security.
• Support enterprise-level workspaces like Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
• Assist employees with IT procedures and onboarding/offboarding.
• Maintain asset management records for hardware and software.
• Work primarily in a MacOS environment with some Windows support.
• Document projects using tracking software such as Jira.
• 8+ years of experience in IT roles required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in enterprise systems.
• Certifications like CompTIA or Cisco are a plus.
• Knowledge of Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Okta, Jamf Pro, VMWare, Jira, and Sophos.
