Proposal Engineer - Sales Orders & Bids - Remote

Overview

The OTC Team needs a Proposal Engineer to create construction/project bids or proposals. This role will support Business Development (Pricing and Contracts or Proposals and Quotes) or Operations (Sales Order Management and Invoicing).

In Short

• Creating proposals/quotations based on requests from Business Development/Account Representatives.
• Ensuring accurate preparation of quotations to avoid downstream impacts.
• Timely closure of requests received through Salesforce tool.
• Enhancing and adding value to the process.
• Managing service delivery and meeting customer requirements as per agreed SLAs.
• Ensuring customer satisfaction and process excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business and experience in the oil and gas industry preferred.
• Understanding of quotes, bids, proposals, and order processing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Persistence to complete work correctly and timely.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in SAP, MS Outlook, MS Excel, and MS Word.
