Overview

The Senior Accountant plays a critical role in ensuring accuracy and effectiveness in all accounting tasks, acting as a cross-functional business partner to optimize processes and maintain compliance.

In Short

• Handles operational and technical accounting with limited supervision.
• Prepares intercompany account reconciliations and consolidations.
• Maintains and reconciles balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
• Acts as the main liaison for international subsidiaries' financial control.
• Takes a leadership role in month-end and year-end close processes.
• Investigates and resolves audit findings and discrepancies.
• Contributes to the development of accounting systems and procedures.
• Identifies errors and suggests improvements for efficiency.
• Participates in the documentation of business processes and accounting policies.
• Performs other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Qualified Chartered Accountant or Certified Public Accountant.
• 6 or more years of experience in Accounts Payable/Receivable and general accounting.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
