ZScaler Engineer (Contract) - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Security Operations Architect/Engineer with deep expertise in Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) to join our team on a temporary basis. This role requires both architectural-level knowledge and hands-on engineering skills to address Zscaler challenges. The successful candidate will work directly with IT to resolve access issues, optimize configurations, and ensure a seamless user experience as the organization refines its Zscaler implementation. This is a contract role designed for an expert who can step in immediately, troubleshoot problems, and provide solutions.

In Short

• Act as the subject matter expert for ZIA policy change or restructure.
• Review current policies and configuration to improve ZIA performance and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues including authentication, policy enforcement, client connector deployment, and connectivity challenges.
• Provide architectural recommendations and best practices for Zscaler deployments.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security Operations, and IT Support teams.
• Develop and maintain documentation of Zscaler configurations.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA).
• Ability to resolve Zscaler onboarding and adoption issues.
• Proficiency in integrating Zscaler with identity and access management solutions.
• Solid understanding of network protocols and security fundamentals.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
